In 1987, the founders of Insights realized that an opportunity existed to make money and to have fun while promoting new products and services to the consumer. To take advantage of this opportunity, in 1993, And Still We Rise Productions, Inc. (ASWRP), was created to specialize in promoting parties and special events. ASWRP's first client was Seagram Americas, and as the client list grew, so did the range of services that ASWRP provided. The growth and demand for these services was the catalyst for Insights creation.

Insights founder and president Keshia Walker has over 18 years of experience in marketing, promotions and special events. Ms. Walker has worked in brand management and ethnic marketing with the following Fortune 500 companies: Amoco Oil Company, BellSouth Telecommunications, The Coca-Cola Company and Procter & Gamble.
