Meet Keshia Walker
Keshia Walker is president and founder of Insights Marketing and Promotions. Keshia’s 19 year marketing career has consistently targeted the African-American and Hispanic consumer segments, making her a viable resource for brands who want to focus their marketing efforts towards an ethnic demographic.
A native of San Diego, California and Montgomery, Alabama, Keshia is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., National Association of Professional Women, the Atlanta Chapter of National Black MBA Association, National Association of Female Executives and a lifetime member of Florida A&M University National Alumni Association. She is also the Co-Chairman and Founder of Team 94 Foundation, an organization that works with inner city youth from the Harris Homes Housing Project in Southwest Atlanta. Keshia earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida A&M University (SBI), and later a received an MBA with honors and a concentration in Marketing.
Prior to launching Insights, Keshia spent nine years in corporate America learning the business culture of brand management. Her impressive stint in the corporate world included working in brand management/marketing for a variety of fortune 500 companies including: Amoco Oil Company, Bell South, Procter & Gamble and The Coca-Cola Company. Armed with her impressive educational background, corporate accomplishments and personal motto “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13) Keshia left corporate America and launched Insights Marketing and Promotions October 1998.
Today, Insights Marketing and Promotions is one of the go-to Marketing firms for major brands. The company has a reputation for creating and successfully producing some of the most memorable events during Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, NBA & MLB All Star Weekends, Essence, Kentucky Derby, NBMBAA, NMA & HBCU Classics & Homecomings. Keshia continues to strive for excellence as the President/CEO of a million dollar empire. Her accolades include: Rolling Out’s 25 Most Influential Women in Atlanta, Black Women Rock, Who’s Who in Black Atlanta, Harland Boys & Girls Club of Atlanta Volunteer of the Year, National Association of Professional Women, Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive & Professional Women and Champion of Children’s Award. Keshia was most recently inducted into the Who’s Who of America.
